The essential oil from the sweet orange is extracted by pressure to the outer coloured part of the peel and has a deep golden colour with the familiar orangy aroma.
It contains vitamins A, B and C, all valuable for skin care and its comforting fragrance makes it suitable to use around children. Sweet orange is reviving, refreshing, yet relaxing and spiritually uplifting.Orange oil can be used in cookery and chocolate making.
Blends well with: any spice oils, especially associated with Christmas - Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg. Teatree, Lavender, Clary Sage.
Safety Information:
- Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil
- Never take internally
- Use in moderation, may irritate sensitive skins
- Do not use on exposed skin before going out in direct sunlight, can be phototoxic, it can also discolour the skin
- Do not use in pregnancy
- Keep out of the reach of children
