Patchouli oil is steam distilled from the dried leaves and young shoots of the shrub and is dark yellow to brown in colour.  It has a thick consistency.
The oil has a rich penetrating smoky and musky aroma that tends to last and linger. It is an exotic fragrance and only a very small amount is required.

Patchouli helps to soothe and relax the mind and has deep relaxing yet emotionally uplifting properties.

Blends well with: Lavender, Rose, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Orange, Cedarwood.

Safety Information:

  • Never take internally
  • Never use undiluted on the skin, mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil 
  • Do not use in high doses, may irritate sensitive skins
  • Do not use in pregnancy
  • Keep out of the reach of children
