The rosemary essential oil is extracted from the leaves and flowering tops of the herb and is cultivated mainly in Spain, France and Tunisia. It is pale yellow in colour, has antiseptic properties and is both warm and penetrating in its odour and actions.
It is considered a stimulating oil and especially useful when trying to concentrate.
Blends well with: Lavender, Citronella, Clove, Basil, Thyme, Pine, Peppermint and Cedarwood.
Safety Information:
- Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil.
- Never take internally
- Avoid during pregnancy
- Rosemary should be avoided by epileptics and by people suffering from high blood pressure
- Should not be used on babies and infants
- Do not use in high dose, may cause skin irritation
- Keep out of the reach of children
